Extension

“Extension” symbolizes my entire journey of learning art. From a distance to look at the work, it is just a small cube, but upon closer observation, audiences will discover the endless reflections and extensions of mirrors. This is akin to my initial thoughts when I first encountered art, believing that as long as it looked like something and was aesthetically pleasing, it was sufficient. However, now I understand that art has many forms; it's not just about drawing on paper. There is performance art, installation art, interactive art, and more. Each of the copper sheets symbolizes my research and understanding of art. Although it only has a tiny scale, with the reflection of mirrors, my art is extended to another world. "Extension" shows how my art world is constructed. It is more crucial to infuse meaning into the work, and the artwork itself must possess visual innovation.
